Prom Photos Below!
I was so nervous moving to a little beach town in what feels like miles away from the city.
But I was even more nervous being further away from my Mom tribe.
Still at 33 years old I was filled with "middle school" anxieties..
Will they like me?
So, I did what any millennial Mom would do..
I posted in the local Mom group on Facebook.
And guess what!?
I was greeted with so much love and kindness.
I was excited to see the possibilities.
I was excited to connect with even more Mamas.
I was excited to attend the Forever Young Prom!
I mean, if you know me, you know I never turn down a Prom.
So when I heard both elementary schools were hosting an adult prom fundraiser I had to be there!
And woaaaah
it. did. not. disappoint.
There was so much local support it was UNREAL.
The silent auction was decked with items for kids, adults, and families.
The music was all the good music.
Those old school jams.
You know, those baby making love songs.
The girl power of the Spice Girls.
The words of The Wu Tang Klan
The drinks were flowing
The food was amazingly delicious
The vibe was everything
And it was all for our kids.
Does it get any better?
I was reminded throughout the night how important community is.
It's everything.
And I am so excited to be apart of this amazing town.
